1. Services
Arla Roofing LTD provides residential and commercial roofing services across Leeds and West Yorkshire. All services are subject to a prior inspection and written estimate unless otherwise agreed for emergency callouts.
2. Estimates and Quotations
All estimates are provided free of charge and without obligation. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Prices are inclusive of labour and materials unless stated otherwise. If additional work is discovered during a project, we will discuss it with you and provide a revised estimate before proceeding.
3. Payment Terms
For smaller repairs, payment is due on completion. For larger projects, we may require a deposit with the balance due on completion. Payment methods include bank transfer, cash, and cheque. We do not charge VAT as we are below the VAT threshold (subject to change).
4. Guarantees
All work carried out by Arla Roofing LTD is guaranteed against defects in workmanship. Guarantee periods vary by service type and are specified in your written estimate. Guarantees cover our labour and installation only — manufacturer warranties apply separately to materials. Guarantees are void if the work is altered or interfered with by third parties.
5. Insurance
Arla Roofing LTD carries full public liability insurance. Proof of insurance is available on request.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel a booking with at least 48 hours' notice without charge. Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may incur a call-out charge if materials have been purchased or the team has been scheduled. Emergency callouts are non-cancellable once the team has been dispatched.
7. Liability
Arla Roofing LTD accepts liability for damage caused by our negligence during the course of our work. We are not liable for pre-existing defects, damage caused by extreme weather events after completion, or issues arising from third-party interference with our completed work.
8. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our work, contact us immediately on 07463 593716 or email Lukecohen2021@icloud.com. We will arrange to inspect the issue and resolve it promptly. Our aim is to resolve all complaints within 14 working days.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
